142. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Social Protection the number of applications for various social welfare payments such as disability benefit, disability allowance, invalidity pension or other means-tested or health-related payments which have been refused the decision upheld on appeal and subsequently granted on foot of a new application in each of the past three years to date; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
