309. Deputy Pearse Doherty asked the Minister for Social Protection the amount that could be raised for the Exchequer by introducing a new employers PRSI rate of 15.75% on the portion of salary paid in excess of €100,000 per annum. [20075/13]

The introduction of a new employers’ PRSI contribution rate of 15.75% on the portion of salary paid in excess of €100,000 is estimated to yield €91.5 million in additional funding in a full year for the Social Insurance Fund.
