415. Deputy Seán Ó Fearghaíl asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government the position regarding the provision of funding by his Department for a sewage collection network at Kildare town; the length of time this network collection application has been with his Department; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Kildare Sewerage Scheme (Sewer Network Contract) is included in my Department’s Water Services Investment Programme 2010 – 2013 as a contract to proceed to construction during the lifetime of the Programme.

Kildare County Council’s revised Contract Documents for this contract were received in my Department on 23 April 2013 and are under examination at present.
