Deputy Éamon Ó Cuív asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the expected total expenditure under the agri-environment schemes under the common agriculture policy programme 2007-2013; the percentage of this that will be co-funded by the Exchequer; and if he will make a statement on the matter. When EU co funding is taken into account, the net Exchequer cost of funding eligible expenditure on REPs and AEOS agri environment measures is, subject to EU funding limitations, 45% and 25% respectively.
