Written answers (Question to Environment)

Since March 2011, 137 topical issue debates have been submitted to my Department and subsequently selected by the Ceann Comhairle for debate. Information in regard to the number of topical issue debates taken by me and Ministers of State in my Department is available in the Official Report of the Debates and published on the Oireachtas website. In line with the commitment in the Programme for Government these topical issue debates were taken directly by me, Minister of State O’Sullivan or Minister of State O’Dowd other than in exceptional circumstances where this was not possible.
