I have referred this matter for investigation to An Garda Síochána. Provisions relating to prohibition on animal fighting, including cock-fighting, are set out at Section 15 of the new Animal Health and Welfare Act 2013 (which makes it an offence for a person to organise, take part in, or be present at an animal fight or performance).
