Andrew Doyle
Question:387. Deputy Andrew Doyle asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government the reason the Electoral, Local Government and Planning and Development Bill 2013, in Part 4, means the applications for inclusion in the supplement to the postal and special voters lists in advance of the 21st day before polling day at presidential, European, local elections or referendums can be included on the postal and special voters lists, but not for general elections or Dáil by-elections; if there is an explicit reason extending this period to allow more time for the receipt of applications for inclusion on postal and special voters lists has not been included for elections to Dáil Éireann; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
