View answerStatistics on a range of dog control issues are available on my Department’s website at http://www.environ.ie/en/Publications/StatisticsandRegularPublications/DogControl/. These statistics include the number of dog wardens employed by local authorities which in 2012 was 44 full-time and 22 part-time staff.
