Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government if he will provide an update on the intention expressed last year to forward the Mahon Tribunal report to the Director of Public Prosecutions; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I wrote to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) in March 2012 bringing to her attention the publication of the report. Decisions in relation to appropriate next steps are a matter for the DPP.
