View answerAll employers, including public service employers, must comply with the provisions of the Minimum Wage Act 2000 and I am not aware of, nor would I support, the non-compliance by public service employers with the terms of the Act. Where breaches of the Act occur inadvertently or otherwise by public service employers, my policy is to ensure such issues are addressed urgently and with no loss to the employee concerned.
