498. Deputy Andrew Doyle asked the Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation the details of the funding allocated through the microenterprise loan fund scheme through Microfinance Ireland for a particular area (details supplied) in County Wicklow; if he will provide a breakdown of the figures; the number of applications received; the number approved; the total value of loans approved to each business; the number of jobs supported in each enterprise; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Microfinance Ireland (MFI) opened for business on Monday 1st October 2012. As of the 10th September 2013, MFI has received 9 applications, with 4 applications approved to the value of €67,706, supporting 4 jobs in the Wicklow area.
