Deputy John Browne asked the Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources his plans to reopen the Waterford Estuary to salmon fishermen for drift net fishing and eel fishing; if not, if a compensation package will be put in place for the eel fisheries; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
