Deputy Noel Harrington asked the Minister for Finance if he will confirm that none of the 21 bankers stated by the European Banking Authority to have earned over a million Euro in salary in Ireland in 2011 were employed by the banks that the State assisted (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department is not party to the information collected for this survey but on the basis of the information available to me, I understand that none of the individuals referred to were employed by the State assisted banks.
