Broughan asked the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs if she will provide, in tabular form for the years 2011, 2012 and to date in 2013, the number of children in the care of the State; and if she will provide a breakdown of the care orders which underpinned the first placement of these children in care in each of those years, including voluntary care orders, emergency care orders, interim care orders and special care orders.
