1240. Deputy Thomas P. Broughan asked the Minister for Health if the Health Service Executive has an upright MRI scanner in its possession to facilitate MRI scans to take place on patients who, due to an underlying medical condition, are unable to lie still to undergo a scan in a regular MRI scanner and who instead would be better suited to using an upright scanner [46985/13]
