Deputy Michelle Mulherin asked the Minister for Education and Skills the reason there is a delay in processing the application to Student Universal Support Ireland in respect of a person (details supplied); when a decision will be expedited; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Officials in my Department have confirmed with Student Universal Support Ireland that the grant application of the student referred to by the Deputy is currently under review and the student will be informed directly of the outcome of the review.
