View answerThe Ennis/Clarecastle Sewerage Scheme Phase 1 (Clareabbey and Clonroadmore Wastewater Treatment Plants) is included in my Department's Water Services Investment Programme 2010 – 2013 as a Scheme to progress through Planning. Following a Review of the Water Services Investment Programme in July 2011, the Upgrade of the Clonroadmore Wastewater Treatment Plant was approved for inclusion in the Programme as a Contract to Start at an estimated cost of €2.8 million. My Department is currently examining Clare County Council's Report on Tenders for the upgrade of the Clonroadmore Wastewater Treatment Plant and a response will issue to the Council in the coming weeks.
