539. Deputy James Bannon asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the number of applicants for area aid payments in Counties Longford and Westmeath who to date have not received payments; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [50373/13]

Payments under the 2013 Single Payment / Disadvantaged Areas Scheme commenced on 16 October and 25 September respectively, and to date payments worth in excess of €602m have issued in respect of 118,697 applicants, with payments worth in excess of €186.5m issuing to some 87,713 applicants under the Disadvantaged Areas Scheme. Payments are continuing to issue under both schemes as individual cases are confirmed eligible.

The details in respect of payments which have issued to farmers in Counties Longford and Westmeath to date are set out in the following tables.
