576. Deputy Mary Lou McDonald asked the Minister for Health if his attention has been drawn to allegations of abuse while a patient was in a hospital (details supplied) in Dublin 7; and the action he will take regarding same. [50191/13]
View answerThe Minister for Health received representations from a public representative earlier this year on behalf of the named individual. However, as there was insufficient information in the correspondence to allow the Department or the HSE to follow-up on the complaint, the public representative was requested to arrange with the individual for the provision of additional information into the nature of the specific complaint, with dates locations etc. To date, a reply has not been received.
