147. Deputy Patrick O'Donovan asked the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs in view of the recent reports into the use of donations and proceeds from shops to top-up the salaries of chief executive officers and other officials, in sections 38 and 39 organisations funded by the Health Service Executive, if she will seek clarifications from the organisations funded by her Department to determine if similar practices exist in those organisations; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The Secretary General of my Department as with other Accounting Officers, has received a request from the Public Accounts Committee to provide information with regard to the compliance with Public Service Pay Policy of all public service employees in bodies funded by my Department. This information is being compiled at present by my Department in association with the bodies concerned.
