Question:

647. Deputy James Bannon asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the annual costs of renting the DVO building in Tullamore; if it makes sense that the building in Mullingar is owned by the Office of Public Works; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [55506/13]

Written answers

The Office of Public Works (OPW) has primary responsibility for the provision of accommodation to my Department. I can confirm that the buildings referred to in Tullamore and Mullingar are both State owned and form part of the OPW’s property portfolio and accordingly, my Department does not incur any rents.
