544. Deputy John O'Mahony asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will receive their single farm payment; the reason for the delay; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2335/14]
View answerAn application under 2013 Single Payment Scheme was received from the person named on 14 May 2013. The advance payment issued on 16 October 2013. An attempt was made to issue the balancing payment on 2nd December to the nominated bank account of the person named. However as the person named amended their bank details between the issue of the advance and balancing payment the balancing payment remains unpaid. A member of my Department has been in direct contact with the person named and has outlined what is required for the payment to issue.
