253. Deputy Dara Murphy asked the Minister for Education and Skills when planning permission for a school (details supplied) in Dublin 24 will be submitted to the local authority; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3711/14]
View answerThe school building project referred to by the Deputy was included in the 5 year building programme announced in March 2012 and is listed to progress to construction in 2015/16.
The Design Team has been appointed and the project is at an early stage of architectural planning. The planning application, along with the applications for other statutory approvals and the preparation of tender documents are completed as part of stage 2(b) of the architectural planning process. It is anticipated that the project will reach Stage 2(b) later this year.
