Deputy Luke 'Ming' Flanagan asked the Minister for Education and Skills in view of the fact that his Department is aware that there were irregular cash transactions in the use of his Department's moneys in the administration of school transport in Bus Éireann's Dundalk office and that his attention has been drawn to the fact that Bus Éireann refused to give the Garda the information it needed to investigate the irregular transactions that were involved, if he will now take the appropriate action and fully inform the Garda of this incident; if he is aware that under the Corruption Act 2010 it is a crime to improperly withhold information relating to a criminal offence; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
