Deputy Pearse Doherty asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government the reasons persons (details supplied) in County Donegal have been refused a rebate of motor tax in respect of vehicles which they have sold outside the State; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The granting of refunds of motor tax is a matter for the licensing authority with whom the vehicle has been licensed , and I have no functions in relation to individual cases.
