Deputy Nicky McFadden asked the Minister for Education and Skills if the emergency works application from a school (details supplied) in County Westmeath has been received by his Department; when a decision will be announced on emergency works applications; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The school in question recently submitted an application for funding under the Emergency Works Scheme for a complete refurbishment of the Technical Graphics Room and the Art Room. This application is currently being assessed and the school authorities will be notified of the outcome once this assessment has been completed.
