Deputy Noel Grealish asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine if he will provide wave height data from and the exact location of the buoys mentioned by Bord Iascaigh Mhara in the press release of 20 January 2014 at both of the proposed Galway Bay salmon farm sites for the dates from 25 December 2013 through to 7 January 2014; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The data referred to by the Deputy is held by the Marine Institute. My Department has asked the Institute to forward the data to the Deputy within 2 weeks.
