The policy issue raised by the Deputy is the subject of discussions involving the Department of Education and Skills, the National Educational Psychological Service, the National Council for Special Education, the Health Service Executive and the Department of Health. My Department has asked the HSE to reply directly to the Deputy in relation to the particular local issue that he has raised.
