Deputy Sean Fleming asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht the implications for agencies funded by his Department that fail to comply with consolidated public sector pay scales by continuing to make top-up payments to staff; when he expects this issue to be definitively resolved; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I am advised that no top-up payments are made to staff of the State bodies and agencies funded from my Department's Vote Group, which I have listed below. In addition, I would like to assure the Deputy that my Department has structures in place to monitor compliance with public sector pay policy as set down by the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform.
