Deputy Tony McLoughlin asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if he has had any discussions with Irish Rail regarding the disruption of services on the rail line between Carrick-on-Shannon and Longford; if there has been any discussions on possible capital works on the line to ensure that the line is protected from flooding during future wet winters; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
