Deputy Eoghan Murphy asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government further to Parliamentary Question No. 528 of 18 February 2014, when the IT lodgment system is expected to be available for testing by ordinary members of the regulated professions in view of the implementation date of 1 March 2014. View answerThe online Building Control Management System (BCMS) has been available for public use since 1 March 2014. Construction professionals who may use the system in connection with the design or the inspection and certification of construction projects may now register their details on the BCMS, familiarise themselves with the system and use it as required to upload and submit documentation required for building control purposes.
