The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine has policy responsibility for the sale of raw milk. I am aware that the Food Standards Agency in the UK is conducting a review of its controls in relation to raw milk. I have asked the Food Safety Authority of Ireland to notify the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine when the outcome of this review is known.
