Deputy Gerry Adams asked the Minister for Health the number of persons who have had discretionary medical cards withdrawn to date since 2013; the number of persons engaged in the process of appealing a decision to withdraw a medical card; the length of time persons have to wait to receive a decision on their appeal; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
