202. Deputy Dan Neville asked the Minister for Finance if he will issue an official notice of the tax assessment for 2012 and 2013 in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Limerick; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [17875/14]
View answerI am advised by the Revenue Commissioners that, according to their records, the person concerned is neither self employed nor has he held an employment in the last ten years. Revenue is not in a position to issue notices of assessment until the person in question makes a tax return. However, depending on the circumstances it may be that some other form of evidence will be acceptable to the HSE. If the person wishes, he can contact Margaret Kennedy at 061 402143 to see if matters can be advanced.
