377. Deputy Thomas P. Broughan asked the Minister for Social Protection further to Parliamentary Question Nos 324 and 325, if she has received a reply from the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation to correspondence she sent regarding the Irish Aviation Superannuation Scheme; and if she will provide a report on this and any other such engagements with the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation regarding the IASS. My officials are engaged with officials from the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation on the issue of access to the industrial machinery of the state for representation of pension scheme beneficiaries.

These discussions are not being undertaken in the context of any particular scheme. Any proposals which may emerge from these discussions will apply to all pension schemes.
