75. Deputy Pádraig Mac Lochlainn asked the Minister for Social Protection the reason a person (details supplied) in County Donegal has yet to be furnished with a death certificate; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [23444/14]
View answerI have made enquiries in relation to this case with the General Register Office and have been informed that the death has not yet been registered. A death may only be registered in the Register of Deaths in Ireland on foot of a certificate from a registered medical practitioner or a Coroner's certificate.
