Deputy John McGuinness asked the Minister for Health his plans for the staffing and ongoing funding of the new special assessment and epileptic unit at Cork University Hospital; the number of patients on the waiting list to be seen at the unit on a day care basis; the number of patients waiting to be admitted; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
