162. Deputy Peadar Tóibín asked the Minister for Finance to detail the total amount of capital spending on construction projects carried out by his Department, and by bodies operating under the responsibility of his Department, between 2008 and to date in 2014; if he will provide the information on an annual basis in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. In reply to the Deputy's question, an amount of €1.33m was spent by my Department on the construction of a Civil Service crèche in Mahon, Cork in 2008.

There was no capital spending on construction projects by the bodies operating under the responsibility of my Department for the period in question (2008 - 2014 (to date)).
