223. Deputy Mary Lou McDonald asked the Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation the annual saving to the Exchequer if the pay of all ministerial special advisers was capped in his Department at the first point of the principal officer grade. [30912/14]
View answerAdjustments to pay in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Haddington Road Agreement were implemented from 1 July 2013. The table outlines the salary details of the two Special Advisors appointed by me as Minister for Jobs, Enterprise & Innovation in line with the Guidelines for Ministerial Appointments and as sanctioned by the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform.
There are no Special Advisers appointed by my Department’s Ministers of State.
