Questions (664)

Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin

Question:

664. Deputy Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin asked the Minister for Health if there was an arrangement in place between Waterford Regional Hospital and Cappagh Hospital that meant orthopaedic patients on waiting lists in Waterford were transferred to Cappagh for treatment and that they were transferred off the Waterford waiting list; if this arrangement is still in place; if not, if all patients have been notified that the hospitals no longer have this agreement in place; if patients previously removed from the Waterford waiting list have retained their position as priority patients there; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
