733. Deputy Róisín Shortall asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the arrangements in place to ensure appropriate redeployment arrangements in the Road Safety Authority for driver testers who may be affected by a road traffic accident in the course of their work, which results in them not being able to continue in that role; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Staffing issues and any redeployment arrangements for driver testers is a matter for the Road Safety Authority.  I have therefore referred the question to the Authority for direct reply.  I would ask the Deputy to contact my office if a response has not been received within ten days.
