381. Deputy Robert Troy asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Social Protection if she will provide an update on an issue regarding provision of parking for staff at the Government offices (details supplied) in County Longford. [32725/14]
View answerA meeting between OPW and DSP officials was held in Longford in January to discuss, inter alia , the issue of traffic congestion on the Government Buildings site and options to ameliorate same. A number of options were discussed, however not all are practical or cost effective. In this context, some further consideration of the matter has been required by OPW following the meeting. I am now advised that OPW expect shortly to be in a position to present what will hopefully be a feasible option to relieve the congestion on the site.
