476. Deputy Sean Fleming asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government the number of agencies or State bodies under the aegis of his Department that have been abolished since 2011; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [32239/14]
View answerAs set out in the Table below, my Department’s agency modernisation/rationalisation programme has seen a significant reduction in the number of agencies, with further reductions planned for 2014 with the merger of the Environmental Protection Agency and the Radiological Protection Institute of Ireland and the dissolution of the Dublin Docklands Development Authority.
