619. Deputy Dara Calleary asked the Minister for Health his plans to re-introduce the motorised transport grant; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [32035/14]

Minister of State at the Department of Health

On 26 November 2013, the Government decided to assign responsibility to the Minister for Health for the development of a new statutory travel payment scheme. The Department of Health is working to develop proposals on foot of the Government’s decision.
