1383. Deputy Brian Walsh asked the Minister for Education and Skills the position regarding progress in respect of a school building project (details supplied) in County Galway; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [34013/14]
View answerThe school building project referred to by the Deputy is included in my Department's 5 year construction programme. The project is currently at an early architectural planning stage which involves the development of design drawings. When this process is complete a meeting will be arranged with the school authority to provide an update on the design and the remaining stages of the architectural planning process.
My officials are liaising with the school authority which is aware of the current position with regard to the project.
