Questions (1457)

Sandra McLellan

Question:

1457. Deputy Sandra McLellan asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government to set out the number of libraries nationally that have had to cut the number of days per week that they are open to the public due to the recruitment embargo - some libraries are now only open three days per week; her views on whether this is acceptable in view of the fact that front-line services were not to be affected by the embargo; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
