Deputy Jonathan O'Brien asked the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs the number of personnel who are employed by the newly established Child and Family Agency; the number of these positions that have been filled by public advertisement; the number that were filled internally by appointment; and if he will make a statement on the matter. At the end of July 2014, there were 3,471.22 whole time equivalents employed at the Child and Family Agency. The information requested in respect of the appointment process would not normally be held in my Department and I have asked my officials to arrange for the Agency to supply this information directly to the Deputy.
