107. Deputy Brendan Griffin asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the position regarding a forestry plantation appeal in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [34938/14]
View answerThe person in question submitted applications to my Department for afforestation which were refused approval. Subsequent reviews by the Forest Service upheld those decisions. However it is now open to the applicant, if he so wishes, to submit an appeal to the Agriculture Appeals Office.
