226. Deputy Terence Flanagan asked the Minister for Education and Skills regarding CAO statistics which state that 15% from Dublin 17 and 94% from Dublin 4 and 6 go to college, the percentage from each area that qualify for a grant in view of the fact that it is income related; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Under the terms of the student grant scheme, grant assistance is awarded to students who meet the prescribed conditions of funding including those relating to nationality, residency, previous academic attainment and means. I regret that the information requested in not collated in the format requested by the Deputy.
