Deputy Richard Boyd Barrett asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine if a licence was issued for the storm tree felling in Jenkinstown wood in County Kilkenny; if so, if he will provide the inspector's reports necessary for both public amenity woodlands felling licences; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The only felling licences issued in respect of tree felling in the townland of Jenkinstown were two General Felling licences issued to Coillte in 2009 and both of which expired in April 2014. There were no licences issued in respect of storm damaged trees in this townland.
